Reflection for 2012

Hello humans,

I was hesitating whether or not to blog since my lappy is currently in hospital and I can only blog with my Hp. But anyway since it's the last day of 2012, maybe I should just do a short reflection of this year.

Come to think about it, year 2012 is considered a good year and it's not really just another year for me since everything went rather smoothly. (:

In year 2012, i got to travel abroad for good 3 months. It was overall a good and enjoyable trip though it wasn't where I've planned to go last year. I didn't make any friends with super good bonds but at least I get to know some new people and get to travel with Adele and sis. France (troyes and Paris), Belgium (Bruges and Brussels), Amsterdam, Barcelona, Italy (Rome and Venice), Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva etc) and Germany (Berlin, Munich) etc, places i left my foot steps and become part of my memory. Months of frequent movement and break away from familiar places and people. I don't think i've gained much independence but it was really a memorable trip. Perhaps I should have another blog entry about it. Haha. Blessed to be able to travel, and back to Singapore happily and healthily. A good experience indeed.

Academic wise.. so far so good, I'm more concerned for upcoming semester. School have been okay and expectations are more or less met-it's more like I reap what I sow (human do hope to receive more harvest than we expected, dont we?)Though AY2012-2013 semester 1 (the semester that just past)'s result wasnt of what ive expected, it was still okay considered okay since my cGPA remains the same at 3.80. Honestly speaking I was hoping for at least a B+ especially since I've no bad feeling after doing the papers and the modules overall seem okay. Oh well, too long nv see a B, last time was for HS301.but nvm, what I should worry more is next semester if I wanna maintain my cGPA. Tell me how I can achieve a A- for my last soci module and a B for my Fyp (I've planned to get a B- for Fyp cos i dont want to have any Cs -.-). Perhaps too much of nuahing and working hard only when I have to makes it reasonable for the grades. Okay, hopefully I wouldn't nuah too much next semester and I supposed myself not to. If I nuah, please don't remind me about Fyp, please just let me do it and try not to jio me out too often. I hope I will just progress at my own pace and hopefully I'll get it started with the start of the coming semester. I know I shouldn't be so concern of the grades. I know grades are not everything. I know I'm secured either a second lower confirm plus chop. I know education is not just about obtaining good grades and work life is much beyond what we have learnt and seen and experience in school. But it's more like a self motivation and self fulfilment. I know I'm socialized into such a culture of being so grade-minded and ive choose to continue living with it cos given the fact that ive nothing in mind of where to go it's still better to obtain better grades since my people skills isn't that good. Grades is not everything but everything some jobs position do look at degree and it may shapes the type of job scope and opportunities given. oops I'm ranting too much, in a reflection post. Haha. Shun bian la.

Seems like my life only revolves around school and family.

Actually it was a year I went out and spent more time with my family I think. eldest sister got married, the first wedding in our family (:also I'm glad that all of us stays healthy and happy (;

Year 2012, a good year. May the bad, if too bad stay behind, and probably the good shall beeextended to 2013

Year 2013, a year with many great changes and I hope I'll be able to handle. It will be good, for all of us. We all gonna be happy healthy livings (:

Resolution for 2013 will be out soon.

Holiday!

Hello Humans,

It's late December now and I am enjoying my holiday after my second last final examination in NTU. Yes second last, how fast right? Can't imagine next year when I only left with one and only paper for my final final examination. HAHA, don't need to countdown already. I'm a bit concerned that I'll be even more nuah as compared to this semester but I supposed that I'll be quite busy next semester with my FYP. So please don't assume that I'll be super free with a one-module semester okay? :P This time round really have to do work on FYP already cos FYP draft supposed to be submitted by early March. Hence strictly speaking, I'll only have less than 1.5 months for me to do everything given the fact that I'm nuahing (and intending to nuah my December away) and BKK trip and CNY gonna take away quite some time away too. And what's worse is that my laptop is sick and crashed and heng that my documents are saved in google.doc! But still, poor lappy ): And so irritating that I can't upload my remaining Europe trip photos which I intended ):

Anyway, final papers for Gender and Population are okay and I'm very sure that I wouldn't fail. HAHA, cos it's never easy to fail, unless you're really power or it's something really !@#$%^. I would say I don't have any or much bad feeling regarding my papers. Either I'm getting pro or I'm letting go. I think is the latter huh. HAHA, but anyway I can tell you which is it on 28th Dec when the result is out. :P

Shall blog again when I have the time and mood.

Do you miss me? 

HAHA, just realized that I didn't blog for a month. Perhaps you are used to my absence since the 3 months break back in May.

Anyway, Gender paper is down, I'm looking forward to Tuesday cos that's the last paper! HAHA(: Oh well, not exactly looking forward Population paper since I know nuts about it. What I meant was the day. I'm sure you get me, don't you? (:

Anyway lying on the bed waiting to fall asleep is a torture, but heng yesterday was just a short while. Went for bed at 11.59pm and my sister was talking to me and I became more awake -.- Threaten her that if I can't fall asleep I'll on the lights and read my bedtime stories and she guai guai never kajiao me. HAHA(:

Went for Jurong Point to jalan jalan for a while to buy some stuff and to change books for sister after my paper today. Gym-ed and I'm aching now, especially my legs. It's great when there's no one in the gym cos you can just do whatever you like. (: Have been trying to hit the gym at least once a week since the start of the semester, hopefully can maintain this good healthy lifestyle huh! Though I didn't lose any weight but at least I feel healthier. :D I'm still hoping to lose some weight though since I've gained some weight after coming back from Europe and my weight remains at its peak. ):

Hello Tuesday

Hello Humans.

November is arriving this week, it's way too fast!

Next week I'll be working for an event job and hence got to miss out exam welfare goodies from HSS and NTUSS ): I'm so sorry NPM for not being able to carry out our sem-ly thing ): Anyway cross my fingers that work will be fine! And hopefully I can get my HS318 done by this Friday since I'll be out over the weekend too. Oh I just started it! X:

Will be meeting friends for their birthday celebrations and followed by my sister's wedding! (:

At the mean time there're deadlines and then exam and end of semester. FAST.

On a side note, S3 lte is pretty user-friendly!(: I've yet to fully explore it but I still have the time to do it next time. Joined instagram (username: hobeanbean) and it's weird to have unknown people commenting/liking my photo. HAHA, and the next moment I changed the privacy setting on.

Steamboat buffet and New phone (:

Hello Humans,

Met up with laopos for dinner steamboat buffet at Royal Hotel, which is near Novena MRT. The food are okay, not bad but not too fantastic. Their yam is super nice and they have chili crab and peking duck too, but the skin for peking duck wrap wasn't nice but overall still okay. It was a good session to stuff ourselves with food and the surrounding was relatively conducive for gathering cos the place was quite quiet! Perhaps we went on a Wednesday or maybe it's the same throughout the week I've no idea. But anyway, it's a get-together-session for us and we had good laughs too! (:


Out with Xin ytd, and we went to recontract our plan and these are the phones that we got:

WHITE S3 which I prefer. Actually I can tell my sister likes it too. Moreover we got it using her plan, so I've no idea whether it will be mine. LOL.

So after we got our phone at JCube, we rushed down to FarEast Plaza to get her dress altered and we kept eating! First was at JCube where we ate sushi, chocolate cake and drink taro fresh milk then was spicy tofu + fishball + cabbage, bacon sausage, beancurd, luo mi ji and chicken meatballs. LOL.

 Have been trying out the phones and downloading apps for both phones instead of doing my assignments. clap claps. But who can resist playing their new toys right? (:

Raining these days.

Took this photo quite sometime ago. I know the resolution is bad, but spot that cute white tree at Lian Hua Primary school. so cute right? (:

 Guess my hair is in its longest length now. But I'm going to trim it and do treatment next Wednesday with ZY (: Funny Bay commented that I can shot hair advertisement cos my hair is straight and long. HAHAH. Anyway, hopes the hairdressers are skilled and give our hair a good cut! :D Can't wait for Wednesday since we'll be having buffet with HL at night too (: TAI TAI LIFE!!~

 Painted nail polish, so shiny right? It's good that this kind of colour doesn't require much skill cos the faulty strokes can't be seen clearly. The rapid dry top coat is good cos my nails really dry rapidly! (: Thanks Groupon for the free $8 voucher! On a side note, both Shan and I were thinking that our body hair (e.g. legs and arms) are getting longer after our Europe trip. I hope this is illusion.

Now I've lesser good reads from friends on my blog, cos I accidentally delete that portion from my blog template. Hello lost and found friends.

Off to study, I hope. I'm seriously in a not-so-conducive mood for study (i.e. holiday mood) BUT I'm fully aware that it shouldn't be the case and I've plenty of stuff to get over with (e.g. HS222 policy paper and HS318 Research Paper and FYP thingy). Time for my fingers and brain to work on either HS222 oe HS318 assignments since I've to get them done before November.

Mid-Oct.

Hello Humans.

Weekend Malaysia trip was great! It was like a eating and shopping sessions for all of us :)

Dinner celebration for brother-in-law on Saturday at the restaurant in Zon Hotel. Well, the food are okay okay only and the service aren't good. We have to made request a few times before actions were really carried out (e.g. changing plates or refilling tea). We still love Chua Kee and we have it on second night! :D

By the way. I bought a dress for sister's solemnization at RM155 in KSL shopping mall! It was actually eyed by Xin but she's too skinny to fit into it and so I tried it and it fit me nicely! It kinda weird for me in it cos I don't wear tube dress and I feel so empty and fat! But overall the dress is really pretty and since it's in black and white, it can be wore to outings etc (:

We got back to Sg on Monday afternoon but we went straight to City Plaza to do some shopping cos Xin was still looking for dinner gown. Can you imagine that among the 6 of us, only my mum brought her ezlink card and some Singapore dollar to spend? 没有钱还出来shopping! HAHA. In the end they bought quite a lot of stuff like shoes and dresses -.-

And now i'm back to reality. I was seriously feeling that life's good and I was holidaying in the midst of the semester. Have been starring into the laptop for a few hours, sorry that I'm not productive.

It's October 2012. How fast is 2012 passing man!

I've been going out most of the days since recess week started unofficially on 29th September.

29th Sept
Out with family to Town for lunch. Xin bought voucher from groupon so we went to Chatterbox for lunch. Ordered claypot veggi tofu ):, seafood horfun /:, curry fish (: and coconut icecream (:. Looking at the emoticons you should know how I'd rate the food. I've no idea why the gravy are so thick, which makes the food not so nice. Walked around to look for gown for Ying's wedding in mid-November (: Glad that I didn't miss out too much! Xin bought a lovely earrings and I eyed on one but didn't buy cos it's the last one and we don't like to buy display item /:

30th Sept
Out to look for mama's clothes for Ying's wedding. Headed to clementi and cabbed to paya leba's city plaza! Glad that mama managed to eye on some dresses and aunt too! After that was grandma's birthday celebration at Boon Lay Raja Restaurant, which we've been visiting since long long ago! But it's kinda weird that we don't feel that full after the meal. Usually we were bloated even at the mid-way or near the end. Don't tell me their portion is shrinking or my appetite is expanding. LOL.

1st Oct
Meet up with YQ at JP for lunch and KBox! Singing session got to extend, perhaps it wasn't crowded that day. We were waiting to be chased away but no one ask us to make payment even when the time is almost up. And so we played old songs and sat and listen and sing along some. It was a super hot day and perhaps monthly-friend is making me sian and tired. Sorry if I appear shag or show disinterestedness X: Straight after the singing session was meet up with Tiff, YX and SM for Tiff's advanced birthday celebration. Too bad Eileen and Cal couldn't make it. We had our dinner at Sakura and it was bad and expensive! Why is my first try for Japanese buffet such a bad experience. Besides the limited variety, the food doesn't taste nice and the lighting is damn dark and I was sleepy. First time in buffet that I ate so little I think. But anyway company was great. Hope to see you girls in Nov for Cal's birthday if possible. HAHHA(:

2nd Oct
Out with Shan to Chinatown to collect nail polish top coat that I got it free from Groupon. They sent me a $8 credit so I just find a $7.90 deal to use it! HAHA. After that we collect our ukuleles- hello Uku and LeLe! :D Headed to town to look at wedding gowns for a while behind parting Shan to meet Cherlyn aka Monkey for dinner! Ate at a Chinese restaurant and had small catch up, and some walk around (:

3rd Oct
Out with Shan again to accompany her to dental. Poor girl's retina cracked and she gonna remake one for the top ): I hope my retina will be good and stay strong! Anyway she's going to extract her wisdom teeth tomorrow and most probably I'm going to accompany her. HAHA. Random walking in Bugis and happened to chance upon some nice and relatively cheap gowns! (: We were excited and thus we went back to the shop again on the next day,HAHA.

4th Oct
So Shan got her gown and I was indecisive whether to get one from the shop or not. I wasn't super ultra into the gowns but they are pretty nice and cheaper! So it is highly possible for me to get one from there and so I put deposit for a gown! (: Oh ya, we had lunch at our favourite place- 食为先! Perhaps it is true that you can't keep eating the same food though you like it cos you might lose interest in it or the taste will change. HAHA.

5th Oct
I finally NUAH AT HOME! (: I was too lazy to travel to school for the exercise program and hence I skipped it! OOPS, I better take note that I can only skip it one more time in order to be paid! :D

6th Oct
Out with Shan again. HAHA, this time round was Central which we didn't managed to see much gowns and Town which sell gown at super expensive price. Perhaps we didn't get to see most or all shops so.... it was quite tiring to walk around and to hunt for gown. So end up we bought some other stuff -.-

7th Oct
I'm at home again, finally (: Was nuahing and listening to new songs from 丁当and Jolin! Nice huh! (: and was trying to type stuff for FYP. I'm so sian diao. LALALLALAL

It just feel like.. holiday. With some stupid stuff (school) to work on occasionally though it shouldn't be. I guess I haven't tune my mood correctly yet, just like my un-tuned LeLe. lol

Yet another week

Hello Humans,

Time pass super ultra fast and it's Tuesday again! ):

Have been going out for the past 3 days from Saturday to Monday.

Saturday was a short mini-gathering for some of us (me hl zy yt and maybe hl's bf), all thanks to yt (: We didn't managed to play any games but we were on time for food! HAHA, we reached the place at a perfect timing cos dinner buffet just started. Dinner was followed by 灯谜，which all of us aimed to guess right 1 question each and to get the present. HAHA. it was quite challenging cos we don't get to read the question but to listen to the question only, no visual aid a bit hard for us to guess huh! ): But anyway, I managed to volunteer and guessed the correct answer for the question of guessing a word “天破顶” and won myself a mug! Joked that it will be bay's present next year! I'll really give it to her in its original form if i remembers! :D Glad that though we are all busy, we still managed to come together for a few hours (:

Sunday was family day, where my family and I went to look at houses! HAHA, yup we like to look at houses though we don't really have intention to buy them. Nevertheless those display units are really nicely designed (:

Went to JB on Monday and it was really a eating day. I ate freaking lot for 5hours and that was quite 辛苦 cos bloated stomach is just irritating ): Shan't list down what I ate though I told zy what I ate, haha, I don't wanna sound like a pig though I am one.

And... I am finally done with my HS222 presentation after many editing! Decided to do on 2 articles instead of just 1, so it will take around 21 or 22 minutes. Hopes it will be okay on Thursday! (:

Decided to rest a bit after editing HS222 presentation by blogging, guess I'll bathe soon and perhaps start my FYP soon. Sorry FYP, I didn't touch you for 2 weeks already and my concern for having something to 交待 professor is here again ): It's so irritating leh. I thought of not going school tomorrow cos I've nothing new for her. But tomorrow is last time of seeing her before recess week, which is next week! Oh well... stupid FYP ):

And I can't wait to watch stupid Jap variety show at 8pm! HAHA

it's another week

Hello Humans,

it's 八月初三now. Twelve more days to 中秋节. I'm very tempted to accept YT's invitation for Saturday 中秋节's celebration and hence I was urging HL and ZY to finish their assignment asap so that we can go together! Girls, please finish them or at least done up with most part of your assignment okay? (:

Yesterdays was supposed to collect my lele but due to shipment and customary delay, we can only collect it from 19th onward ): But the thing is we're not free to make a trip down to collect it any time soon. Lele, please guai guai wait for your mummy okay?

But anyway, Shan and I brought mum and godma to Chinatown for lunch! Introduced them the vegetarian restaurant that YT/XQ brought us to years ago! It was a good session- eating and chatting session. Mum revealed that she used to copy her classmate during spelling test and how her teacher would suan her when she kana caught. HAHA.Walked a bit before Shan and I left them.

Anyway, Shan and I had a rather expensive dinner- $30+ for 2 pax at Ion Orchard. But it was a good experience in that Japanese restaurant! The food is nice (I ordered fried pork and Shan ordered Salmon Soup) and I got to "fry" my own porky! It was another happy meal of that day since both of us like what we ordered (:

How fast is another week. Time is passing at a super fast rate.

I kinda have this love-hate relationship of my current lifestyle of nuahing, watch TV, out with family days followed by going to school. I've been neglecting the last part and going school is almost like a chore. ):

Oh well, I starred into computer screen for hours and days for my memo and finally I think it's done cos I simply feel sian doing it. I shall edit it and use it for my presentation. HAHA. Wait, maybe I should do more research for FYP so I have something to 交待 to my professor tomorrow. LOL.

Okay off I go, can't wait for Channel U program at 8pm cos it's freaking funny (:

Family Days

Hello Humans,

I was supposed to do some research for my FYP over the weekend but it turned out to be family days. HAHA, don't know if that's good or not.

Anyway, went JB and we had our favourite curry fish head + duck + rojak + yong tau foo (: Walked around in City Square mall after lunch and we wanted to try mooncake! But the stingy person didn't manage to catch the hint that we wanna try pandan flavor mooncake. SO STINGY CAN. So we went to another store but it's kinda sticky and we didn't like it. Can't wait to go Takashimaya for mooncakes! :D Dinner was at Chua Kee, another favourite place to eat in JB. (: So basically it's a family eating day. LOL

Impromptu shopping at Bugis with my second sister yesterday. We spent most of our time walking around Bugis Street, which changed a lot since my last visit with her!As a guai sister (ahem),I didn't manage to get anything though she's the bank of the day. Okay I did try to find something to buy but there isn't much for me to buy. I would say one dress is mine IF I can fit nicely into it. HAHA. After that we meet Dad and Shan for dinner- Fish head and sambal kangkok. (:

Will be meeting FYP prof on wednesday and I haven't been doing much. I'm super lazy and.. lazy. Tell me how can I ever meet this:

Oh well, I'll die if i follow it. There are days which I confirm plus chop will be out or nuahing but of course I can't show it out to prof right? HAHA. Oh ya, I still need to do up a list of reference for her too. Okay more for myself since it's for own use but she wanted us to show her. Argh, haven't read much how to do sia ):

And, I'm going for an interview tomorrow! Scary much, I haven't been to interview for super long time!

Hello Humans,

It's September 2012!

Glad that besides school day on Thursday and Friday, I have family time with my beloved family (: Think most of the bonding time are meal time, HAHA. My dad loves to bring us to eat fish head, so we had one in Chinatown market last Monday and the other on Sunday (: He wanted to bring us since the day we were back and the other one was meant to welcome my brother back too. My brother went to Macau with his colleague and he left the group after a week to travel Seoul on his own for a week. It was a bit worrying when we know typhoon hit Seoul but glad that he's fine and all. Not bad huh, at least he got to experience typhoon! Anyway he really backpack sia. For 2 week journey, he just carried a backpack with him, the one that I used to travel for my 1 week travel in Barcelona and Italy. Love Macau goodies and masks that he bought (: He bought 2 bags also, by right they are meant for himself but we "snatched" it over. HAHA:)

Tried Manhattan Fish Market for the first time last Monday and Tuesday for dinner with family (: Thanks to sister who bought the deal! The wait was long and irritating on Monday and thus I decided to go down earlier on Tuesday to make the order so we wouldn't have to wait that long (and that worked!). Oh ya, and we had our favorite 食为先yesterday (: 姐夫 brought us to NUS for dinner yesterday too, mini wok was nice and the portion is big. But this morning my aunt, my mum and me was having stomache! ): We figured out that it is probably NUS's roti prata ):

So.. with all the goodies how to jian fei right?! ):

Anyway I was thinking of changing HP soon since Nokia's battery is a bit sot sot.  I was very tempted by iphone 4s but it is really kinda expensive, the screen is kinda small and it is really everywhere! I was in a queue and I turn left and right and even stretch my head out- iphone iphone and more iphones.And then there's S3 with lots of new smart features and all. So I was setting my eyes on Samsung S3 and iphone 4s till my family 炮轰me that the 2 phones are too expensive. It was only then I "清醒“ cos the phones are really expensive and most probably I wouldn't use a lot of those wow features. And they keep reminding me how much I've spent this summer and I'm gonna spend more coming Jan. HAHA. Hence I'm shifting my attention to HTC and HTC One S seems not bad. But after reading the comments on HTC SG FB, my mental image of HTC being quite pro and good shattered. Most complaints are regarding its screen and it's malfunctioning phone. And there's only Taiwan hotline, though I don't mind speaking in mandarin but the concern is that perhaps they wouldn't care much about overseas complaints... And so I'm looking at LG optimus 4x HD. It seems pretty good and the functions and features are not that bad AND it's much cheaper :) More research gonna be done, I'll just see how and meanwhile hope my E72 remains as guai as usual. HAHA. Anyone out there have good phone to recommend or anything they heard good/bad regarding HTC One S or that LG phone?

Meet up with secondary friends was great. We had dinner at Roma Deli- shared pizzas, baked rice and baked pasta, followed by icecream at Bugis Plus(: Thanks for the free icecream CS Sai! And Moon, thanks for saving one bottle of chocolate with love from your solemnization (: And seriously, i feel like a goo-do when I was like "what is bugis plus?!". HAHA.

Short meet up with a JC friend on Friday. We aren't close and hence I was pretty surprised that she initiate for a lunch in school. I was sort of worry that she'll sell me insurance, HAHA! But heng she mentioned that she doesn't like friend who does that, phew so i'm saved since she's not one of those :P Lunched at Canteen One and she introduced me 小笼包! But too bad she was too full to have 小笼包, perhaps I'll try it next time then!

Okay, gonna start working, first presentation of this semester will be on Friday. Wish me goodluck.

Week 2 of year 4

Hello Humans,

My hobby is really nuahing and collecting dust.

I just started searching for something related to my FYP topic though I'm still not sure if I'm going really do on it. It's not going to be easy finding subjects and... Basically I just thought of the main topic, which is health, and a sub-topic without really knowing what I really want to do with it. Please don't ask me yet, cos I'm still searching for an answer myself. (:

Week 2 of study has ended. HS222 lecture was as boring as usual. X: I think prof tried too hard to interact with students or get students to interact among themselves. I was just happily living in my own world cos I doesn't feel like involve or simply I don't have people to interact with. It's okay to be alone and I'm fine being alone, but his lecture was quite boring till the extend that time pass damn slowly! ): Hopes it will get better and he'll just resume to his "talk-to-himself" mode. Oh and one more thing, his readings are thick and lecture slides are wordy ): I WILL SURVIVE.

Oh ya, I wanted to mention this, on how a year 2 can make such a comment and I find it very -.- This year 2 guy mentioned in HS222 lecture that if a society needs to eliminate parts of the population, it is common sense that we SHOULD eliminate (killing them off) the poor. He then went on to make his stand (which I don't really what he said cos I was too -.- at his first statement). A year 4 guy then debated that it's a senseless remark and blah blah blah. Of course I agree with the year 4 guy cos you can't just eliminate the poor just because they are poor! And the year 2 guy was very firm with his stand and the 2 guys got quite worked out that prof have to say it was just a "for example" question.lol. Hello, you are year 2 (and I suppose that he's at least 21 or 22 years old) but you're making such an ignorance statement. *shake head*. I am glad that this year 2 guy is not in my tutorial group, if not I'll vomit blood.

oh by the way, I don't have to do HS222 presentation alone! Will be doing it will Hui Wen since her friend dropping the course. She's the only one that I "know" and since she initiated to do the presentation together then okay lo! HAHA. But we have yet to inform the tutor so... we'll see how.

HS318 was kinda okay. Saw familiar faces (e.g. Si Hui!) during tutorial and again year 4 makes up the majority. It was year 1 sem 2 when I took HS219 together with Si Hui and Val! (: Tutor, Jamie, is a guy and he's rather soft-spoken. He seems to be okay though he can really keep questioning (e.g. when one student answered his question he then ask her why again).

It will be a good semester, I hope.

I realized that as I grow older, I'm getting more anti-social. Not sure why but hmmm, I think I'm getting lazy to make the effort to get to know people whom I think wouldn't get too close. Since my social circle is so small already, I have I can at least maintain it and perhaps draw a few more people in over some time.

Okay that's kind of random.

Anyway, met up with Cherlyn after doing a survey in NIE. It was a freaking good money! (: I love NIE and I love their research department!! Lunch took 2 hours without us knowing and oops, I received miss calls from NPM and FY, both whom I need to meet to pass/receive stuff. HAHA. Nice lunch and random chatting. This woman born on the same day as me, but we are quite different. Say hi to my new friend in Soci (:

It's officially the second week of school but I'm still in holiday mood. Can't help it, just had a long holiday abroad and now seems like an extension of it. Monday was a public holiday (though doesn't feel like one since I've no class on Mondays) and guess who's my date of the day?

Oh well, It's been a while that the two of us date! I'm quite sure it wasn't the pathetic date we had when we were in Secondary Two, wearing our PE tee-shirt and shorts around in Orchard and taking Neoprint with it. HAHA. Maybe it was some study session, I couldn't recall X:

So anyway, we had our lunch at Charlie Brown :D It was a warm and the place doesn't have air-condition, but good company plus not-bad-food is still okay (:

I would say we didn't do much but we kept finding food and eating food! Lunch was at 1plus and both of us were hungry before 4pm. After searching for a good place for hi-tea, we settled down with McDonalds. LOL. Had nugget set since it's more worth it. It's a set meal but hmmm, end up become snacks. HAHA.

So we took photos again after our meal. My duty was to hold the phone and her duty was to take the photo. HAHA, 分工合作（：

See, I'm not so bias that I'll only date BHL okay. I got date if you (and zy i got date you one also!) too :P After hi-tea was walking around and we had dinner together at around 7pm! Keep eating huh! No wonder I can feel myself getting fatter and fatter after I'm back in Singapore! Keep eating (stuff like fries and chocolate) and not walking much ): And that day, straight after my dinner, I had my "supper" with my family! Well, they were having dinner and I joined them so I can eat my fav chicken from Five Star :D

Since I've thought of learning, I almost immediately bought one for myself and pink one for Shan (: I was hesitating between blue and yellow and decided on yellow. Too bad there's no brown, which is the ideal one. But nevermind, yellow is an awesome, at least I think so (:

Can't wait for 17th Sept to collect it!!!

And to my surprise, xiaoqing has one too! We can all learn together when we're free (:

I am back home after travelling 7 countries!

Sorry for not updating my blog at all for the past 3 months. Thanks to the unstable internet connection and all. I'm back, safe and sound. (: 

Thanks for everything and everyone that make this a memorable trip. Every single kind soul who helped me one way or another, friends that I made through Europe trip (okay I know I'm pretty anti-social and hence not many new friends. ) and of course existing friend like NPM and my sister shan. Thank you very much. (:

It was definitely a good experience, a good chance to break away from Singapore, maybe to know myself better, to appreciate things and people around me better etc. Nothing beats home, i guess so after being away for 3 months, though I have to admit that I'll miss lots of stuff in Europe.

Perhaps I'll update on my trip soon, but maybe not that soon since school is starting and I'm officially a final year student- I have to start working on my FYP proposal soon since dateline is 3rd September, wish me goodluck.

Anyway, I've been aimless of what lies ahead in the future, but nevertheless I thought of short term goal for a year, at least there's something for me to work on, beside academic thingy, not that bad huh. And my aims is to get a driving license and learn how to play ukulele! I know it's kinda random but hmmm, they just came to my mind and I thought maybe I should go ahead. Perhaps I'll start reading the driving book once I'm more or less settled down with my FYP. As for why ukulele... Well, I've always wanted to learn to play an instrument but unfortunately I only know how to play recorder which I believe most of us know how to. Piano and violin would be too expensive and hard to learn at my age and hence, this cute, inexpensive and seems to be much easier to learn instrument came to my mind! I hope I'll really get to learn to play it, not just hoping or dreaming. I even taught of a name of my future ukulele and that's lele! HAHAHA :D yes, we'll see if lele will ever exist in my life. Oh ya, and maybe to engage in some volunteer work or something similar.

Tomorrow shall be the first time I'm going out in Singapore after 3 months. I believe nothing much have changed. Home is still the best. People, meet up with me soon, especially my dearest friends.

Year 3 debt- CLEARED.

Hello Humans.

I've cleared year 3 debts!

Exam wasn't as stressful and it wasn't satisfactory. I made mistakes that I've never made in exam before (not that I can remember).

First paper was HS316. I got to admit I was ill-prepared for the paper. 1 question was asking on 'G' and my answer was '9'. Totally like no link-.- Felt @#$%^&* but what to do right? Plus it was my first paper and I better stop emo and study. Stopped emo but couldn't stop falling asleep. So I did a bit a revision for the paper next day.

HS317 was better, since i prepared more for it. Still, more potential answers came to my mind after submitting the paper. lalala.

COM254 was... i don't know what to say. I seriously hate 2hour paper that requires writing (i.e. essay). 22marks were left untouched. And I wouldn't score 78marks for those that I've done. but if given more time, I still don't know what are the answers to the 17marks questions that I didn't do,haha, so it's still "okay". anyway I've sort of prepared not to get B+ for that mod so rahhh, okay, i'm fine/i'll be fine.

HS416 is another 2 hour paper, and I seriously think there's not enough time! I think my writing speed downgrade already and my hands felt tired for writing little! That's for every single paper for this semester, except my final paper, which is COM 222 since we got to use computer to type our answers):

COM222 sucks i tell you. I type the best I could, 2,000 words in 2 hours, it's considered very good for me already. though my answers are damn incomplete and short but that's the best I could give. It wasn't that shitty till I realized a stupid mistake that I've made. It was only till 2 hours after the paper when I show adele the question paper that I realized I answered the wrong question! E.g. there're 2 compulsory questions (Q1n2) followed by 2 choose 1(Q3/4). I thought I answer Q1,2 and 4 but in fact I answered Q1,3 and 4! -.- I WAS SUPER SIAN JI PUA.

well, exam sianness is over.

The reason why I like exam is that I can use study as an excuse/a reason for not doing anything else. HAHAHAHAH. oops, but it's true that exam period should study huh! haha. Anyway, i have been busy doing stuff and pei family etc. Time to plan for Europe trip before I leave on next Thursday! Not sure if I'm excited, cos there are so many things to be done. Hope all's well. (:

在广播听了一首很好听的老歌-领悟。电视剧《 再见双人床》的主题曲-伴 也超好听的。觉得不只好听、感人，也似乎说明了一些道理。我并没有追看《 再见双人床》， 但认为这是一部具有教育意义的戏。对了，如果我没有错的话，以后的电视剧都会有中/英subtitle!

 6th final in NTU.

I'm still surviving well after 3 papers! 

Though my first paper HS316 sucks like shit and I was totally tired after that paper + COM254 almost a quarter of the paper not answered, but this exam period doesn't seems to be that stressful.

6 more days, 2 more papers, each with 30% weightage.

Will resume study soon, after this post?
