Im back to the workforce. hope this time really can break the curse of working for a few days only.HAHA. and finally i got the job type i wanted though the pay is quite low. but i finally get to work with paper and conputer most of the time.HAHA. but sad to say is that i type damn slow lah. i was expected to finish typing the whole thick stack of paper within 2days lah. but i typed least than half a quarter of it lah D': wonder how my supervisor will react if she come back on monday. x: damn tire everyday since it's been sooooo damn long since i wake up at 6plus.

anyway, MOONRIVER is having sales now! dress/top/pants/shorts/skirt selling at 18 bucks only! that so damn attractive right? so tempted to buy lah, the dress damn worth it okay, though I'll rarely wear them. HAHA.

and ya, saw a blazar selling at 23 bucks! it's consider quite cheap already right? though i wouldn't wear now but in the future most probably will wear, and it's quite in the trend right? or is it out already? HAHA. soooo tempted to buy, perhaps kana influent by bhl. HAHA.

since i've mention bhl, that reminds me that i just met her today. HAHA. we had dinner at cck though it was really just a dinner and we went home almost straigh after that.HAHA. but we had a good meal at wan zai or don't know what. HAHA. we were too tired from work sia. and every one else seems to be pretty fast which makes the 2 of us felt that we eat very slowly (which is not true). anyway the toilet is pretty dirty. one bowl with shit floating and the other is a non stop flushing bowl. -.=

went out last few days! mostly spent with my family and my 3rd sister!(:

Thursday and Friday were graduation days for my 2 elder sisters! i only went on the 2nd day cos go 2 days for what right? HAHA. dad's car was fully packed (there's 7 of us!). buffet was nice though i didn't get to eat some nice food such as tempura (is the fried prawn call tempura, if not, i mean the fried prawn.HAHA). Took family photos and the total of two photos cost $12! that's so expensive right? but,NAH it's okay since we rarely take family photo these days! some went home and some went dad's shop. me and my sister went city hall!(: settled some stuff and had our dinner at 4 plus near 5 PM! that's freaking early right?HAHA. but there's lunch promotion from 2-5 PM and the grilled chicken in the picture was asking me to bite it. so we ate over there, trying to drag our time since it's still pretty early to have dinner for us. headed home after walk walk for awhile (:

went to yanting's house on Saturday morning! so sad that huiling can't make it since she's working and zhenying didn't come too! but luckily xiaoqing and my sister were there with me! HAHA. yt also invited her friends- shu mei (okay, i know her since she's from 07s29), baoling, chun yi, zi chun and all the rest i forget their names! I'm so sorry! HAHA. took quite sometime to decide on what to bake and finally we decided to bake 2 types of biscuits so as to use up the ingredients we bought the other time. had lunch which was prepared by yt's mama! (: there;s curry mutton etc!! HAHA(: after that then we start baking though most of our eyes were starring at the television! baking was quite fun,though i didn't do much. HAHA. There're 2 rounds. the second round only the few of us ( shan me xq sm n yt) since the rest got to leave earlier. THE BISCUITS turn out to be nice(: played monopoly with yt's bro. left and head to bugis with my sister (: overall, FUN AND HAPPY DAY (:

went out with mama papa and shan yesterday. didn't do much in fact. went to have breakfast together and went dad's shop to use computer. HAHA. we left rather early and had fish bee hoon at chinatown!(: the bee hoon damn smooth til damn hard to take using chop sticks lah! and we went to buy some stuff and head off to look at those show-flats! okay, we are not moving lah. just went to see see. the show flats damn nice can! i love the big spacious balcony though most of the rooms are quite small. HAHA.

oh ya CONGRATES to those who received letters from university! okay, i am not one of them yet. and I'm praying that i'll be one of them soon! no matter what we'll receive letter eventually, but the content will be different- as in either your application is success or NAH,not approved. for NTU's guess i'll still have to wait pretty long since i asked the professor during interview. need to wait like 2 to 3 weeks then i'll receive the letter. sianjipua, NUS,WHERE'S MY LETTER LAH! D':

A group of children were playing near two railway tracks, one still in use while the other disused. Only one child played on the disused track, the rest on the operational track.

The train is coming, and you are just beside the track interchange. You can make the train change its course to the disused track and save most of the kids. However, that would also mean the lone child playing by the disused track would be sacrificed. Or would you rather let the train go its way? 

Let's take a pause to think what kind of decision we could make........ ........ 

Most people might choose to divert the course of the train, and sacrifice only one child. You might think the same way, I guess. Exactly, to save most of the children at the expense of only one child was rational decision most people would make, morally and emotionally. But, have you ever thought that the child choosing to play on the disused track had in fact made the right decision to play at a safe place? 

Nevertheless, he had to be sacrificed because of his ignorant friends who chose to play where the danger was. This kind of dilemma happens around us everyday. In the office, community, in politics and especially in a democratic society, the minority is often sacrificed for the interest of the majority, no matter how foolish or ignorant the majority are, and how farsighted and knowledgeable the minority are. The child who chose not to play with the rest on the operational track was sidelined. And in the case he was sacrificed, no one would shed a tear for him. 

The great critic Leo Velski Julian who told the story said he would not try to change the course of the train because he believed that the kids playing on the operational track should have known very well that track was still in use, and that they should have run away if they heard the train's sirens.. If the train was diverted, that lone child would definitely die because he never thought the train could come over to that track! Moreover, that track was not in use probably because it was not safe. If the train was diverted to the track, we could put the lives of all passengers on board at stake! And in your attempt to save a few kids by sacrificing one child, you might end up sacrificing hundreds of people to save these few kids. 

While we are all aware that life is full of tough decisions that need to be made, we may not realize that hasty decisions may not always be the right one.

yesterday was a tiring day. have to wake up early in the morning which i didn't practice for a long time. headed to MOM for interview. I'm praying i WOULDN'T get the job. okay, please say BIN IS CRAZY! but oh well, it's not really what i was told. I've to call the person and if the person failed to do the thing i'll have to make a trip down to the person's house! i don't like that. as for the pay wise.... it's also different from what i was told if I'm not wrong. so oh well, may i remain unemployed for the time being.HAHA. sorry for contributing to the frictional unemployment! ):

headed to NTU and reach like 10 minutes earlier but the time pass damn slowly. the written test is not essay -.= i was quite sianjipua lah.. crapped through the test which lasted for 50 minutes and went back to the reception area to wait to be called after the professor read our paper (i was the 5th counting from the back!). I pity the professor who read mine cos i simply crapped through and he must be wondering why me this kind of standard can be considered for sociology. LOL. the interview lasted around 20 minutes. it was not good. as in, ... eh, i was quite frank to tell him that i don't really read novels or news and that stun him. yes, i should have told him i enjoy reading at least. BUT i commented that I'm pretty interested to some types of novels (that's true okay!). LOL. and he asked what's my favourite & the most dislike sub and why. i told him i like biology and chinese(since that's the best sub for me) and he asked why don't i study biology or chinese instead -.= yes,i should have told him i loves social studies and geography and lit(though to a smaller extend) but i forgot about them (cos they're sec sub) until the interview was over. and he asked which country i've went before. so i told him about the china trip i went in my J1. then he asked me what makes me like or dislike the person over there. and he asked if i applied for similar course in NUS and i told him FASS. then he was like have i called for interview by NUS. and he asked if both my application for NTU sociology and NUS's FASS success, which one will i choose? i told him i'll consider it again -.= and BLAH BLAH BLAH. so out of sooooo many people, they'll only select 80 people! so i think i better pray for NUS's letter!

i was damn hungry and cold during he test and interview lah! ate lunch at 3 plus with mama at JP and we went walk walk before we headed back home. (: JP's NTUC is rather clean (: all the vegetables are damn nice and clean lah. HAHA. okay,just being random-.=

anyway, i have TWO interviews tomorrow! one is job interview for a surveyor job at MOM (in the morning) and the other one is NTU sociology written test&interview(in the afternoon). OH WELL,hope both will turn out to be okay! (:

honestly speaking, i didn't prepare much for tomorrow's interview. cos' i don't know what to prepare. THANKS dawn for suggesting about the 45 minutes essay and I've digged out my GP notes on essays. HAHA. cos i can't even remember what to write for introduction. 45 minutes is really too short for me to write anything lah! by the time i finish thinking the time will be almost up!

and... my brother asked if i really like sociology again -.=" if not I'll have to suffer for FOUR YEARS cos he can't even remember the introduction part of sociology which he just read! and i wondered if I'll like it. i put it as my first choice though i wasn't sure how to rank my choices. IF I'm so lucky that i pass the interview and test, i can't reject sociology since it's my first choice right? imagine if you got a place for first choice yet you want your second choice.. that would be pretty weird right? and the school wouldn't bother about you right?

Met up on Thursday was great(: went to settle some stuff before meeting xiaoqing at raffles place(: both of us turned up to be late but it became just nice though I waited awhile. HAHA. Xq was mentally unsound cos she even asked me to hop into the train she was in (towards pasir ris) though we’re heading towards town and it’s just nice to transfer train at raffles. HAHA. We embarrassed ourselves by speaking too loudly (OOPS SORRY). Haha. Bought movie tickets and shop around while walking towards fareast to meet huiling and zhenying.

ANYWAY, I received a call from NTU sociology! (: okay, interview and written test freak me out! Can any kind soul out there tell me THE WRITTEN TEST IS ABOUT WHAT? I’m praying hard that it’s not essay though most probably it is. It’s been so damn long since I wrote a proper essay and that was during A’s! And, what is the proper dress code? Jeans seems to be a bit informal but what else to wear? Haix. Hope everything on Tuesday will turn out to be fine! (:

Okay, back to topic for Thursday! Bought an exactly same top with xq again! Though I thought of buying a grey one, but I was complaint by my family that I keep wearing dull colour.. HAHA. And we bought HL a top (: then we rushed to meet yanting and we were late for our movie. CONFESSION OF A SHOPAHOLIC was not bad! (: it's a rather funny movie lah, and I can understand their ang mo! As in sometimes I find it hard to catch what they were saying in the movies and show.. Okay, me and my bad English! HAHA. Okay, after watching this movie, I learnt to question myself about this when shopping….

i cut my hair on thursday (: with the short fringe i have makes me so nerdy, as if i'm going back school to study. but it's okay since it's not really that short. mama commented that it's like cut with a coconut on the head -.= OH WELL, suddenly have the urge to cut it short. not those very very short but maybe just shorter? okay, i know i just cut my hair -.= anyway, it was the first time a hairdresser suggested me to rebond my hair cos' my hair is curly! i do not deny that my hair is messy and curly, but i felt so RAH when she suggested me going for rebonding! LOL. cos' some hairdressers thought i rebonded my hair or i don't need to rebond lah. HAHA. OH YA, the salon provides free access to internet while your hair is being cut. but i couldn't use this service cos' i can't see a damn thing on the screen without my spectacle on! D':

Baking session at yanting's house with yt and cs sai is pretty fun (: we got the proportion of the ingredient wrong but it turns out to be okay! (: oh ya, this baking session is suggested by cs sai! cos' he'll be going to NS on 13april!! all the best my friend! (: we ate lunch and dinner at yt's house. NICE MEALS! (: played with yt's bro since he insisted us to play with him. initially i didn't want to cos' monopoly is a NEVER-ENDING game. pam came and we stopped playing. went westmall and saw marianne in library (: then zhenying and huiling came over and we headed back to yanting's house. her mama cooked CURRY MUTTON and even fried fries! :D you know yt knew her mama going cook curry cos she saw potatoes and the chilli leaves! HAHA. we were like having REUNION DINNER lah! the feeling is damn nice though yt was like watching television while the rest chatting. blames on her good position lah- she sitting directly in front of the TV and pam who is damn skinny can't block her view. HAHA. played hotel626 awhile. it wasn't that scary cos' there's total of 7 people in the living room which is quite bright. HAHA. watched 9pm drama and headed home (: oh ya,we bought a small cake for yt, but she was too full to eat it. HAHA. okay,in conclusion i love friday's gathering (:
