I should be studying like the good rabbit above but i'm actually not. Last revision for exam in ntu but wasn't that motivated but of course I tried to study or at least do some note writing which doesn't look as nice as the past notes I've made.

HAHA, just realized that I didn't blog for a month. Perhaps you are used to my absence since the 3 months break back in May.

Anyway, Gender paper is down, I'm looking forward to Tuesday cos that's the last paper! HAHA(: Oh well, not exactly looking forward Population paper since I know nuts about it. What I meant was the day. I'm sure you get me, don't you? (:

Anyway lying on the bed waiting to fall asleep is a torture, but heng yesterday was just a short while. Went for bed at 11.59pm and my sister was talking to me and I became more awake -.- Threaten her that if I can't fall asleep I'll on the lights and read my bedtime stories and she guai guai never kajiao me. HAHA(:

Went for Jurong Point to jalan jalan for a while to buy some stuff and to change books for sister after my paper today. Gym-ed and I'm aching now, especially my legs. It's great when there's no one in the gym cos you can just do whatever you like. (: Have been trying to hit the gym at least once a week since the start of the semester, hopefully can maintain this good healthy lifestyle huh! Though I didn't lose any weight but at least I feel healthier. :D I'm still hoping to lose some weight though since I've gained some weight after coming back from Europe and my weight remains at its peak. ):

Year 3 debt- CLEARED.

Hello Humans.

I've cleared year 3 debts!

Exam wasn't as stressful and it wasn't satisfactory. I made mistakes that I've never made in exam before (not that I can remember).

First paper was HS316. I got to admit I was ill-prepared for the paper. 1 question was asking on 'G' and my answer was '9'. Totally like no link-.- Felt @#$%^&* but what to do right? Plus it was my first paper and I better stop emo and study. Stopped emo but couldn't stop falling asleep. So I did a bit a revision for the paper next day.

HS317 was better, since i prepared more for it. Still, more potential answers came to my mind after submitting the paper. lalala.

COM254 was... i don't know what to say. I seriously hate 2hour paper that requires writing (i.e. essay). 22marks were left untouched. And I wouldn't score 78marks for those that I've done. but if given more time, I still don't know what are the answers to the 17marks questions that I didn't do,haha, so it's still "okay". anyway I've sort of prepared not to get B+ for that mod so rahhh, okay, i'm fine/i'll be fine.

HS416 is another 2 hour paper, and I seriously think there's not enough time! I think my writing speed downgrade already and my hands felt tired for writing little! That's for every single paper for this semester, except my final paper, which is COM 222 since we got to use computer to type our answers):

COM222 sucks i tell you. I type the best I could, 2,000 words in 2 hours, it's considered very good for me already. though my answers are damn incomplete and short but that's the best I could give. It wasn't that shitty till I realized a stupid mistake that I've made. It was only till 2 hours after the paper when I show adele the question paper that I realized I answered the wrong question! E.g. there're 2 compulsory questions (Q1n2) followed by 2 choose 1(Q3/4). I thought I answer Q1,2 and 4 but in fact I answered Q1,3 and 4! -.- I WAS SUPER SIAN JI PUA.

well, exam sianness is over.

The reason why I like exam is that I can use study as an excuse/a reason for not doing anything else. HAHAHAHAH. oops, but it's true that exam period should study huh! haha. Anyway, i have been busy doing stuff and pei family etc. Time to plan for Europe trip before I leave on next Thursday! Not sure if I'm excited, cos there are so many things to be done. Hope all's well. (:

I'm still surviving well after 3 papers! 

Though my first paper HS316 sucks like shit and I was totally tired after that paper + COM254 almost a quarter of the paper not answered, but this exam period doesn't seems to be that stressful.

6 more days, 2 more papers, each with 30% weightage.

Will resume study soon, after this post?

Result for Year 3 Semester 1

All grades are above or on par with my expectation which I've blogged in the previous post!

To be honest, I wasn't as nervous to know the result. Meet up session with laopos was great and my mood ain't affected by it at all. Well, I did thought of the fact that it will be released, but I was feeling well, it's going to be out.

HS 215 A- (expected B+)
HS 301 B (expected B-/B)
HS 401 B+ (expected B)
CS8004 A- (expected B+/A-)
BU8301 S (expected S)
GPA: 4.1
cGPA: 3.74

I got my 3rd A- for sociology modules. (: Though there's no A but I'm happy enough to have such an improvement. I'm pretty surprised when I see "cGPA 3.74" in my degree audit and I wonder which module pulled me up. This semester wasn't as good as I thought initially and I was seriously stressed over a short period of time when we were rushing for HS301 essays, presentations and HS401 assignments. It was the second time that I actually felt stressed in University. It's those kind of stress yet not extreme kind, so I feel it's pretty okay. The first time was actually in year 2 semester 1, but it was super short and turned out to be okay too.

But anyway, it's over and I'm all well to say yeah, this semester ain't that bad right? Therefore I would expect a much more decent improvement and hopefully in going back on track for my initial goal of improving by 0.24 for my GPA per semester. Whee, tell me a GPA of 4.48 is achieveable. I'm working towards it for next semester. It's going to be super tedious, especially with Communication Studies modules.

Oh well, I'll see how again, planning and adjustment will be done next semester.

As for now, I'm happy and shall continue to psycho myself that the road to second upper is getting nearer and it's not impossible. Whatever it is, i'll just try.

Fun-filled holiday so far! (:

Sometimes I thought of blogging on some stuff, but once I started typing, I don't know what to type.

Many of my friends are away from Singapore! Like Adele (Jap), HL, ZY, XQ (TW) and YT (Thai). Someone asked if I'll be very bored cos all my friends are away. True that it can be quite sian to have them all travelling but hello that's only a few days! HAHA, if like that also can't tahan then...

Haven't been staying at home for 1 whole day since holiday started!

1st December was my last paper-HS215. It was at Hall K, a small and cozy (eh and cold?) function room right above medical center. Brought my breakfast (bread) into the examination since we have to wait for a few minutes to start the paper. It was my first time bringing food into the hall! It feels weird, and to eat it. HAHA, the girl next to me smiled to me when I held my bread to my mouth. LOL. And I finished the bread just before the start of the paper! JUST NICE. I was pretty freaked out when I flipped through the paper. I was expecting case study for the first question since it's our prof's pattern. BUT I'LL NEVER THOUGHT IT WILL BE 7 PAGES LONG OF WORDS! ): I spent 30 minutes reading the damn case study! I'm a super slow reader sia. Anyway I found all the question very xxx ): But never mind, last paper already so I just hope everyone die together. :D

Went to Charlie Brown Cafe at 313 with Adele after our paper! Went Cold Stone Creamy for a short while and walked a bit before settling down at Subway. Chatted and this woman laughed with her mouth full of water! The result of that was poor me kana splashed ): NPM I'll never forget huh! HAHA.Anyway that's considered as mini send-off for her Japan trip :D Still enjoying in Japan, good! :D

My table, cupboard and room is still in a mess! Instead of tidying "my" area, I went to my dad's shop and helped my sister to tidy her office! HAHA, I'm such a good sister :)

Watched 3 movies within 9 days- You Are The Apple Of My Eye, Already Famous and Happy Feet 2! The first movie was with YT, ZY and CS! I think it's the first time for us to watch movie together. Anyway got one customer cute sia, say "I want to watch the apple show". HAHA. Honeymooned with pam for Already Famous. She's so  有心 to "do" her hair before our dating! BFF was nice, as in the Best Fries Forever that she introduced is nice! :D I wanna eat it soon, maybe on Monday when I go town with sister. Happy Feet 2... Not really a movie that I'll watch in cinema, but GV is having a promotion of 1 for 1 for that movie if u show them the coupon. So why not right? (:

Oh ya, course registration on 5th December was rather successful! Except that HS4016 can't be added as the system is not updated -.- Hopefully I can get those UEs man. Friends have been asking me about STARs, make me feel so senior sia.

Went Teoheng with YiQing! Didn't know that we can bring outside food in and there's no drinks provided! HAHA. But it's a good place if u're going in big groups cos they charge by room instead of number of pax! I don't know why but every time I sing with her I feel so.... stress? HAHA. Wanted to jio pam but she say she don't wanna to 杀鸡, lol. Oh ya, both of us bought $3.50 worth of sushi! Indeed great minds think alike! But we bought all different types of sushi! No clashing at all :P More singing to go soon, when NPM comes back!

Chicken Rice at Mandarin Orchard

Had Chicken Rice at Mandarin Hotel with godma! We had half chicken for ourselves and we had a cup of beer each. I don't really like beer, so I ended up finishing half the cup of beer only): Oh ya, I also started carrying this lovely Charles and Keith bag from my beloved primary school friends! :)

Sent my laopos off yesterday! HL was damn happy cos it was her first visit to our beloved Changi airport! Our mini meet-up before their fly off was super short and rushy over Mcchicken! Thanks SC, xq's bf, who treated us the meal! and I took his shun feng che to T3 cos I wanna go walk around :/ Walking around airport really have the travel feeling man. I'll make sure I travel to somewhere sometime next year, via plane. LOL. And I took bus from Changi to Town! I thought it'll be fast but.... it took me an hour! ): I was so sianjipua when I saw ECP etc ): In SC's car, he asked if I'm sad since I didn't travel with the girls. Well, I wouldn't say I'm not, plus some disappointment BUT it was still okay since there will be opportunities for us to travel together next time! Moreover I'm not a fish monger, can't tie my friends up and make them go according to my schedule. And Tiger is being kind enough to offer me a full refund! HAHA, they offer it to me without me requesting okay, NO DISPUTE as guessed by HL. LOL. And HL seems really excited for her first far far away trip to experience Taiwan with laopos and to experience winter! I think it'll be a great memory for them. As for me, no worries, got heart and money and time, there's always chance :)

These pretty summarize my holiday so far.

I think most of us are happy that it's over but at the same time emo about how cruel it was.

For me, I think I'm more happy than emo since not much effort put it. emo shall come if I don't secure a B- at the end.

1 paper down, 3 more to go.

I've no idea but it seems to be rather slacky.

Hopefully this slackness will not yield a result that's too bad. I just need to score minimum of these to get a cGPA or GPA 3.66:

Not greedy grades right? Yes I'll be very contended. So pray hard yay.

And being subjected to NTU's system for 2.5 years, I can't remember that the passing grade is a D and I always thought is C since it is 2/5. Come to think about it, having the misconception that C is the passing grade is good so that at least I wouldn't fall below it.

I'm year 4?!

Hello Human.

Whee, it's slightly good to clear AUs faster and to be in "year 4" for next course registration though i'll still be a 3.5 year student.

Why?

Cos we can register modules slightly early! (: But i'm not sure whether that applies to many of us, and if so that would be pointless. Anyway the worries for courses shall wait.

First paper- HS301 is coming in 2 days time, to be exact it should be 1 day. I'm still not even half way through. Fell asleep 'n' times while reading. I seriously love HS301. Anyway got back the essay today. I should say I'm happy and contented for a rubbish work to get B- (: I seriously have no idea what I was typing and that explain the 6 question marks I got from Harry. In fact I wonder how he mark and give me that grade. Recalling the HS205 essay which I putted in much more effort and got a C+ from him, I think this time round maybe he is being more kind.

Supposed to be studying, I came online to check email and that was my intention an hour plus ago. Maybe I should stop "checking" my email and go back to my lovely 301. No no, i think i'll go to TV soon. Stupid channel 8 is airing good nice drama these days. And after 行医 now got 星洲之夜. Why so many distraction?! Thank you very much channel 8.

HS301 please be nice, I want a pass, or a B-, though i know it wouldn't be nice, at all.

oops, I'm a slacker. Yes ): But my eyes can't set on 301 for too long :/ I need some distraction to make myself slightly awake. I'm at modernity. Half way through the chapter, and that's third lecture out of the 11. okay okay I'm fine with a B- so give me my B- for this mod okay. C+ will be okay too but I'll still prefer B-.

It's quite rare (i think) for me to feel so nuah despite the fact that my paper is Thursday. This is bad. hopefully I'll stop falling asleep while reading such an interesting module.

Finally have some time to update here. (:

Basically this is how I spent some of my days:

Gathering (Singing) with University friends on Wednesday[8th June]! (:

Starting from Left: Valerie, yours truly, Adele and YiLin

Met Adele at 10+ at Harbour front to send her hard-drive to hospital! It was a ulu place and we got to walk under the hot sun! Sat and crapped in the air-conditioned room while hard-disk is under operation!

Lunched at mac before heading to Chinatown to meet YiLin and we took quite some time to find $10 club! Val who was late reached shortly after us! HAHA. First time for me to sing quite a number of ang mor songs! Quite fun when we all sang together(: Dinner at People's park complex/market before heading home. Sole of sandals came off and I was damn sianjipua and worried that's a bad sign. LOL.

Honestly speaking, I didn't know what to expect for the result. I would really wish for good GPA to pull up my cGPA and to meet my target GPA of 4. Yet, finals were unpredictable and my estimated pre-final grades were far from the grades that I wished for most modules. Checked result after getting home. Saw cGPA 3.66 which is above expectation of 3.6. I was a cGPA 3.53 and the jump in figure did put me in some doubts. I was wondering how did I manged to get such improvement? Didn't I expect myself to do badly/not as good for some papers? To get a cGPA of 3.66 means B+ for each modules. I know probably some people will think "neh it's just 3.66". But to me that's good enough for the time being since it's within my goal. (: I don't expect a big jump which is unrealistic you see.

By the way Adele called me twice to inform me the update of cGPA and release of individual module's grade. Sorry that I might be a little rude by saying "why are you calling me" cos' we've said that we'll communicate through SMS/MSN. Paiseh that I sort of need time to "sort my feeling". HAHA, thanks girl for being the one who always update me regarding school issues! (:

HS302 A- (Which I "demanded" a B)
HS314 A (Which I was hoping for a A- or B+)
HS207 B+ (A paper which I had bad feeling cos I was totally blank)
COM204 B-
HP805 S
Term GPA: 4.13

Total AU Earned 19

cGPA: 3.66

I got my first A for Sociology and managed to pull up my 302 from C+ to A-[my second A- for Soci]! (: Of course for HP805 I was expecting S cos I confirm wouldn't fail. But all my Soci modules really surprised me! Pleasant surprise (: A A- in for HS302 probably mean that I got A or A+ so as to pull up my C+ (:The only wasted in this sem is COM204 cos my grade drop to B- D: Too bad I couldn't blame COM204 cos it's my lack of interest in it. And too bad my electives which are meant to pull up GPA in fact pull my GPA down. Anyway I was really happy for the result and glad that I was a mugger during the exam period. Yet I can feel the stress of achieving my targeted GPA of 4.24 for next sem so as to pull my cGPA to 3.78. It's actually possible to get 4.4! As in I calculated if I SUed my COM204 instead of HRM, which I think I'd probably get a B+, my GPA would be a 4.4! HAHA. But I don't intend to use any of my remaining SU of 9AUs if I were to minor in both Communication studies and Chinese. So being a mugger weeks before exam and staying away from FB does help in one way or another. Anyway, it's possible to improve and pull up GPA bit by bit! Jiayou people! <3

By the way I've applied partial exchange to NUS! (: Hopefully I can get it so that I can clear my COM mod with ease! But I've only a few friends in NUS who wouldn't be taking COM! D: Anyway I'll be considering overseas exchange soon! Really don't know where to go as in France would be somewhere great to visit. But if I were to go France instead of Taiwan early next year, I'll missed out the taiwan trip with my family (if there's any). Though this time round I can apply for INSTEP, it's quite a low GPA to apply for it. Shall think about this issue soon.

Pizza-hut-ed with Dad&Shan @ Nex before meeting up secondary school besties at Lot 1 [9th June]!(:
Ordered our favourite Sweet&spicy chicken drumlet which never fail to make me so happy! HAHA. Tried their seafood baked rice, "fried sotong" and chicken spaghetti wrapped in paper! Sorry that I don't know their proper names. HAHA. I don't like sotong, like rubber -.-The chicken spaghetti wrapped in paper was okay, but a bit pricey. D: A treat from me became a treat from Dad! HAHA (:

Met up with HL ZY YT Pam and CS at pasta mania for dinner. I was wondering what to eat since I had pizza, baked rice and spaghetti in the afternoon thus I ordered pasta. HAHA. Short and sweet dinner and continued to catch up with the girls at Mac(:

Kickboxing with Shan @ Orchard central [10th June] (:

Whee picked up something new this holiday-kickboxing! Well, we're only going for 5 lessons at a rate of $24 if I'm not wrong. It's damn tiring can! D: My whole arms (wrists+lower arms+upper arms), back and legs are aching! D: That was just after 1 hour of lesson! 4 more lessons to go! (: We were craving for some mee sua but the price increase to $3.80! So end up I bought subway instead! D: Planned timetable at Dad's shop and was doing up my goal-list! Guess I'll be taking 5 modules of 3 sociology modules and 2 minor modules-chinese and/or COM.

Science Centre with Laopos [11th June] (:

Thanks to bay and YT for donating blood, we get to go to Science Center after years. Oh I just recalled that my last trip to there wasn't in Hillgrove, but in JJC due to some biology thingy! HAHA. Had big breakfast at Mac before exploring the exhibition. We weren't very active like little kids who are curious of many things. We took photos and even sat for more than an hour to talk! Went IMM to have lunch and shopped in Daiso! Daiso is full of temptation, so many cute stuff! HAHA, I managed to resist and didn't spend a thing! But ahem, I'm thinking of going Daiso again someday with my sister! X:

I'm finally stay at home again! Great to wake up at 10.30AM and nuah around! Currently trying to catch up a Korean drama which I watched half way last holiday! LOL. And yes, surf net randomly.

Actually I'm supposed to think whether or not to have a mini 21st birthday celebration! It's quite contradicting in the sense that it would be good to have a celebration to see people who I don't get to see often but actually I'm thinking whether or not to ask people who I don't really talk much to. And in fact, I still feel kind of weird. HAHA. So, to have or not to have?

Anyway, here to post some photos taken over the weeks:

#1. Starbucks mugging with Adele and Yi Lin.

Had First mugging session with both of them! (: Well it's not the first time with Adele but first time threesome at Starbucks lah (: Spent quite a bit over there. D: Library is still the cheapest option man! HAHA (: Yilin is not seen in any of the photos above cos we were serious muggers (ahem) and we only took photos when we had breaks! And Yilin actually go shopping during the break! HAHA.

#2. Post-Examination Dinner with Adele and Valerie.
@ JP's soup restaurant(: I ended my HRM paper early by leaving the hall 35minutes earlier! (: Poor Adele ate 180g (or so) of Korea maggie cos she thought dinner will be late! HAHA.

Cam-whored before val came (: And we finished a plate of samsui chicken before she even arrived! X: No la, still left a few pieces. HAHA.

#4. Out with sister.

Random outings with shan(: Anyway we had Thai Lunch at Central Thai at Orchard Central cos it was having some 1-for-1 sales (:

Shan ordered her favorite green curry and I ordered chicken fried rice. By the way, their menu is in Thai and translated to English! Good way to learn thai huh? Gai=chicken, Goong=Prawn! HAHA. Oh ya, I love pandang fried chicken. Too bad it's too expensive! But we still gave it a try! (:

#5. KBox with Adele.

Photos with Adele and not uploaded cos her HDD is currently on strike! So naughty huh! Anyway first time singing with university friend! 3 hours of singing is really short! Moreover the person forgot to operate our room! As in we sing half way then the system says something like our room not activated and worse still, "this is our last song". I was like WTH waste our time so I called the person la! Too bad our list of songs still deleted D: Nice singing though there were times of awkwardness. HAHA. Oh ya, how could I forget to mention the 1 hour plus of waiting for the shop to open at fareast! HAHA. Brought Adele to the shop to try the yellow dress I mentioned earlier. LOL.

Hello Humans.

6 days to first paper, 10 days to freedom.

I THINK i can start to feel the stress now. Seems like many things have to be completed.

6days, I don't know that's near or far. But whatever read through didn't really uploaded to my tiny brainy. Stupid statistics is such a sadist. Revision have been quite okay, though lagging behind as planned.

Neh, I'm still not very stress to the extreme. At least stress is finally like coming, push push push.

Okay, back to stupid statistics.
